Meet the Director

Welcome! I'm Kelsey Hill, Director of College Placement and Academic Services at Fork Union Military Academy.

For more than 18 years, I have dedicated my career to helping students discover their strengths, pursue meaningful goals, and prepare for life beyond high school. As the Director of College Placement and Academic Services, I have the privilege of working alongside cadets and their families as they navigate academic planning, college admissions, career exploration, and postsecondary decision-making.

I believe every cadet's journey is unique. Whether a student is pursuing a four-year university, military service, a service academy, technical training, or another postsecondary pathway, my goal is to provide personalized guidance that empowers each young man to make informed decisions with confidence and purpose.

At Fork Union Military Academy, our mission extends beyond college acceptance—it is about developing the whole person. Through individualized advising, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to the Academy's mission of developing the mind, body, and spirit, I strive to help cadets grow into leaders of character who are prepared for success in college, careers, military service, and life.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Shippensburg University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Ferrum College. Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of educational leadership roles, including classroom teacher, academic advisor, standardized testing coordinator, and college counselor. These experiences have shaped my passion for supporting students through every stage of their educational journey.
